LifeSaver UV is a leave-in styling treatment that was developed after the LifeSaver Pre-wash Treatment. We discovered many people were leaving the original treatment in for days, instead of washing it off, because they liked the smooth beachy effect. But the LifeSaver Pre-wash was too heavy as a leave-in for finer to normal hair so we developed the lighter LifeSaver UV as a leave-in styling treatment and added more UV protection with a natural SPF ingredient from sunflowers.

My hair is too big and fluffy without help

Sun & Sea Protection
LifeSaver UV is the best sun protection for your hair bar staying indoors or wearing a sombrero. And that goes for beach combers and city dwellers. We tested LifeSaver UV in two of the harshest climates for hair. First, we conducted a seven-day sun and seawater test in the Maldives where temperatures averaged 32 degrees Centigrade. For the tests, one long weft of hair was cut into three pieces. One piece stayed indoors, two were pinned to the dock. One of these was protected with LifeSaver UV twice a day. And one was left unprotected. Sea water was poured over both wefts once a day.
The comparisons were stark. At the end of day seven, the unprotected blonde hair on the right had become brittle, faded and distinctly thinner. I was surprised myself at just how noticeable the differences were and how obviously damaging just seven days of sun and seawater is for unprotected hair. We only fully notice with these controlled experiments where we can compare.
After seven days, the unprotected brown hair weft on the right became drier, thinner and faded.
Sun &Â Pool Water Protection
Then we tested against sun and pool water in the blistering Negev desert, with a weft of brown hair cut in two. The right-hand weft had LifeSaver UV applied twice a day. The left-hand weft of hair was left unprotected. They were each dipped in the swimming pool once each day.
It’s only when you see the comparison side by side as each day passes that you can understand clearly just how mercilessly the sun rips colour and condition out of hair.
