I’ve a confession. I like long, undomesticated hair on kids, it can add to their cuteness. But Gaby likes boys with neat hair and what with going back to school, Jack was for the chop.
Of course, Lockdown is still on, and he isn’t really going back to school, but term starts next week and they have a full schedule of online classes to follow and we’ll be stand-in teachers. Just hoping my arithmetic can keep up. The boys will put their uniforms on each morning too.
A key tip when cutting children’s hair is that you have to be quick. They’re not really interested in the nuances of our craft. Twenty minutes max, as their attention slides, fidgeting increases and a box of plasters becomes more likely. The second half always takes longer.
I let Jack have a little Ten Second Transformation grooming balm at the end. It gave him a more grown up look like his older cousins.
For Jack’s hair we used Original Cashmere Protein Shampoo and Conditioner. Then finally a little Ten Second Transformation to feed and smooth the hair giving a little shine, texture and hold too.
